Middle Creek Farms takes great pride in raising premium turkeys for both meat production and as cherished members of our farm family. Our broad breast turkeys are carefully raised to provide succulent and flavorful meat, perfect for any dining occasion.
But that's not all—alongside our meat birds, we also have several heritage breed turkeys that we've adopted into our flock. These turkeys serve as our farm greeters with their charming presence and friendly demeanor. When you visit our farm, you'll be greeted with a warm welcome from these majestic heritage turkeys, embodying the spirit of hospitality that defines Middle Creek Farms.
Symbiotic Harmony In Action
Each animal plays a vital role in protecting and nurturing one another on our farm, which was even more evident when a broad-winged hawk swooped down, catching an English sparrow in its talons. Our two hen turkeys, Darla and Dorris, sprang into action, bravely shielding our chickens from the harm's way.
For several tense minutes, they held their ground until our Tom turkeys, Tom and Jerry, joined forces, driving the hawk away. It was a beautiful display of harmony, with each animal instinctively protecting the other. In that moment, we were reminded of the interconnectedness of all life on our farm.
